I'd really recommend it. A lot of people travel up on Friday morning, just stay the one night and book a single even for both days so they get the site passes, then spend the rest of the time chatting and enjoying the free events. It's really worth it! And apparently the Crowne Plaza and Harrogate Inn are good hotels :)
